Many artifacts such as natal charts and almanacks were purchased by people such as farmers in order to consult the stars. To the everyday person, astrology was integrated into their life and used in many decisions and professions.

In Romeo and Juliet along with many other plays by Shakespeare, one may see that astrology is used as a prevalent theme and describes many aspects of the plot. Astrology during the Elizabethan times influenced many aspects of life, the effects of which may be seen in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Before its fall after the early modern era ended, astrology had managed to leave its impact on culture. It had power over many things, from medicine to the plays of Shakespeare, such as Romeo and Juliet. During the Elizabethan period of time, astrology was considered a science and used widely, influencing the population. Astrology is the belief that the stars influence human events, a practice that dates back to the earliest civilizations. Since stars are such a mysterious phenomena, it is no wonder that many people devote their lives to the study of them, such as astrologers. When one looks up at the stars at night, they are looking at the same stars that people from hundreds of years ago also saw.
Stars, some of the most dynamic systems in the universe, almost never change.
